Tokyo University of Agriculture Hosts Exchange Program with the University of Djibouti under the Sakura Science Program

Tokyo University of Agriculture is pleased to announce the successful implementation of the Sakura Science Program, in which students from the University of Djibouti were invited to the Setagaya Campus. This program, promoted by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), aims to foster mutual understanding and cooperation among young people and researchers from Japan and overseas in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.
During the program, students from both the University of Djibouti and Tokyo University of Agriculture participated in a range of forest conservation-related activities, including workshops and research institute visits. In addition to academic learning, the program provided valuable opportunities for cultural exchange and deepened mutual understanding, helping students broaden their global perspectives and build future partnerships.
