2月6日にトルコとシリア両国において発生した大地震により、多くの方が亡くなられ、甚大な被害が生じていることに、本学関係者一同、大変心を痛めております。亡くなられた方々に心からの哀悼の意を表するとともに、被災された方々にお見舞い申し上げます。また、被害に遭われた方々の早期回復をお祈りいたします。
　トルコのオンドクズマユス大学と本学は、2018年10月に学術連携協定を締結しております。地震を多く経験している日本には、これまでの震災を通じて経験し、蓄積してきた防災・復興に係るノウハウ・技術があります。東京農業大学は、オンドクズマユス大学との交流推進を通じ、トルコの皆さんへの支援を行っていく所存です。

A Message of Sympathy to those who affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria

　All of us at Tokyo NODAI are deeply saddened at the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, killing large number of people and causing tremendous damages. We would like to express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives and our deepest sympathies to those who have been affected by this tragedy. We also pray for the early recovery of those who have been affected by the disaster.
　Ondokuz Mayis University in Turkey and Tokyo NODAI signed an academic cooperation agreement in October 2018. Japan has know-hows and technologies related to disaster prevention and reconstruction accumulated through the frequent earthquake experiences. We, Tokyo NODAI, intend to provide support to the people of Turkey through the promotion of exchange with Ondokuz Mayis University.
