125周年記念事業「第21回AAACU Biennial Conference and General Assembly」を厚木キャンパスで開催しました

The Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU・アジア農学部長会)と本学が共催する、125周年記念事業「第21回AAACU Biennial Conference and General Assembly」（2016年10月13日及び14日）を厚木キャンパス トリニティーホールで開催しました。
2015年・2016年度は、本学農学部長（2015年鈴木敏郎教授、2016年度小川博教授）がAAACU Presidentです。 本年度は、世田谷キャンパスにおいてAAACU Board Meeting（理事会）を、AAACU Biennial Conference（国際会議） と General Assembly（総会） を厚木キャンパスで開催しました。
参加者は、フィリピンから19名（University of the Philippines at Los Banos, Visayas State University, Mariano Marcos State University, University of Rizal System, Rombion State University, Laguna State Polytechnic College, Western Philippines University, Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technologyからは学長が出席）、タイ2名、マレーシア1名、アメリカ1名、インド1名、日本（本学5名、名古屋大学6名）11名が出席しました。
AAACU国際会議では、“Towards a Sustainable World: The Challenges of the SDGs for AAACU in the Next Decade”を主題としてプレゼンテーションと、The Challenges of the SDGs and How AAACU Universities are Responding: Short Paper Presentationsとして各参加大学からプレゼンテーションがありました。本学からは、志和地農学研究科委員長および森田茂紀農学部教授が講演されました。詳細は、添付ファイルを参照ください。
