African Café ゲスト講演：サコ・ランシネ氏

文部科学省の支援を受けて実施している「大学の世界展開力強化事業」の一環として隔週で開催しているAfrican Caféに、コートジボワール出身のタレント、システムエンジニア、NPO法人代表のサコ・ランシネ氏をゲスト講演者にお迎えしました！

講演では、ランシネ氏が日本に興味を持ち移住した経緯や、日本でのご活躍、アフリカの最新ビジネストレンド、アフリカ各地の食べ物などについてお話し頂きました。ランシネ氏の明るい人柄と、クイズやジョークを交えたインタラクティブな講演で、イベントは終始笑いに包まれていました。講演後には、参加者が直接質問をする機会もあり、アフリカ文化への理解をさらに深めることができました。

急な告知にもかかわらず、37名の学生と大学関係者が参加してくださり、イベント終了後すぐに多くの好意的な意見が寄せられました。以下にその一部をご紹介します。

African Café with Mr. Sako Lancine

Center for Global Initiatives (CGI) was extremely glad to welcome Mr. Sako Lancine to African Café on Monday, June 28. Besides his career as a system engineer and the president of a nonprofit organization, Mr. Lancine is well known as a representative of Côte d'Ivoire in a Japanese TV program, “Sekai Kurabetemitara” (TBS).

In his lecture, Mr. Lancine talked about how he became interested in Japan and moved here, his activities in Japan, the latest business trends and future in Africa, and traditional popular food from various parts of Africa. His upbeat personality and interactive lecture with quizzes and jokes filled the event with smile and laughter from beginning to end. After the lecture, the participants had an opportunity to directly ask him questions, and were able to deepen understandings and appreciation of African culture even more.

Regardless of the short notice, 37 students and university staff attended the event, and many positive feedbacks were received soon after the event. Some of the feedbacks are as below.
