Studies of landscape architecture science have a wide spectrum, including gardening, rooftop greening, special urban revegetation methods, designing and planning of urban open spaces, landscape planning, and nature conservation and restoration in national parks. A Landscape Architect is a highly rewarding job, getting engaged in the creation of rich environment through planning, design, construction, management and operation. The curriculum of this department is certified by the Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (JABEE), enabling students to receive education of a globally acknowledged standard.
