[Currently open for applications!!!] “Emergency Student Support Handout Program” by the Japanese Government Regarding Application of "Emergency Student Support Handout for Continuing Studies"

*[This is a different scheme from the Tokyo University of Agriculture "Emergency Student Assistance Scholarship"]

Based on the effects of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the government newly established the 「学生支援緊急給付金給付事業」“Emergency Student Benefit Project (Cabinet decision on May 19, 2020)” for students who work part-time.

For students who meet the requirements for the handout and wish to apply, carefully read [Application Guide for “Emergency Student Support Handout for Continuing Studies” (for students)] below and follow the procedures.

The application is accepted by the application system “LINE” created by the government.
Start of accepting applications: from May 29, 2020 (Fri)
Entry deadline for application system “LINE”: June 10, 2020 (Wed) by 17:00 sharp.

  • ・Please check the Tokyo NODAI website and Student Portal Website regularly not to miss any important information.
  • ・Please note that we cannot answer any inquiries regarding the screening process and results.
  • ・If any piece of information in the application turns out to be false, the handout must be returned under the instruction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
