Department of Chemistry for Life Sciences and Agriculture
Chemistry for life and ecosystem from the levels of atoms and molecules
The Department of Chemistry for Life Sciences and Agriculture offers lectures and experimental subjects based on molecules and atoms, which are the smallest units in ordinary space, as the basis of Agricultural and Life sciences. By acquiring the basic and evolving ability based on the knowledge of Chemistry, we foster human resources who can respond to various issues in the fields of Agricultural and Life sciences. In modern society, the chemical industry, including pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals, is facing a great challenge to secure R&D human resources, compared to other industries. To meet these social needs, fostering human recourses with high research ability is also our mission.
