ISSAAS INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS 2010 WILL BE HELD IN BALI, INDONESIA

ISSAAS INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS 2010

OBJECTIVES
1. To encourage and create awareness of the people on climate change and its possible
impact to various aspects of agriculture particularly in Southeast Asia.
2. To share and exchange current information on technological advancement as well as
policies related to the adaptation to climate change.

TENTATIVE PROGRAMME
The congress is open to researchers, academicians, practitioners and graduate students
who are members of ISSAAS.

There will be two sessions :
1. Symposium that will focus on the theme, consisting of keynote addresses and plenary
lectures by invited speakers from different member countries.
2. Scientific meeting that will cater for research areas related to agriculture and climate
change in the form of oral/poster presentations by participants.

CALL FOR PAPER
Papers of relevant topics with the theme of the congress are invited for oral and poster
presentations. Intending authors must send their completed registration forms, with the titles
of the papers and an abstract not exceeding 250 words before 31 August 2010. All abstracts
must be in English. Manuscripts should be prepared on A4 size paper, typed single‐spacing
using standard 11 font of Time New Roman in Microsoft Word with 2.5 cm margin at top,
bottom and both sides. Oral presentation are limited to 15 minutes including times for question
and answer. Poster must be of A1 size. Please indicate clearly in the registration form your
preference of either oral or poster. The committee reserves the right for final decision on oral
