Fertilizer called “Midori-kun(Green Boy)” is produced using raw garbage discharged from the restaurants on Tokyo NODAI campus, school catering centers in Setagaya, in cooperation with industrial firms and Setagaya local authority, and is distributed to the local farmers. Recycling wood waste by turning it into material for pavement is also conducted. The center aims to establish a regional cycling society.
